GexCon's clients can be found in all branches of industry as well as governments and regulatory bodies. GexCon serves customers from all over the world. The diversity of our client base is illustrated by the (incomplete) information given below.

Important customers are oil & gas companies because of safety assessments of large offshore and onshore facilities (e.g. ExxonMobil, Statoil, TotalFinaElf, Phillips Petroleum, Norsk Hydro, Dupont, Gaz de France). Also engineering and other consulting companies are using GexCon for such safety assessments (Halliburton, Kværner, Aker, ERM, DnV etc.).

Another group of customers is the chemical, pharmaceutical, wood processing and metallurgical industry. Safety assessments and explosion testing of materials handled in process installations is ongoing continuously for companies such as Astra-Zeneca, Pharmacia, BASF, Elkem, Dyno, Hydro Aluminium, etc. Testing of equipment for use in potentially explosive atmospheres or for protection against the consequences of explosions is ongoing for suppliers such as ABB, Kongsberg, 3M, R&M Industrier etc.

The FLACS simulation tool is being used in-house by oil and gas companies and consultants including, Norsk Hydro, Statoil, RhodiaTech, Gaz de France, ExxonMobil, TotalFinaElf, Scandpower, Safetech, DnV and others.

Authoritative bodies such as HSE, NPD, DBE and the US National Transportation Safety Board have used GexCon personnel in safety studies and accident investigations.
