Contract Research and Dedicated Test Projects

The testing facilities available at our test laboratories and our large-scale testing site lend themselves well to the performance of specialised testing applications and customised test projects that are tailor made to the needs of our customers. We also perform a significant amount of our testing activities as part of contract research, carried out within the field of fire, blast and explosion safety, either as sole contractor or as part of work in collaboration with GexCons R & D department or other reasearch institutions.

• Offshore explosion safety  - FLACS code validation testing in the 1:33 and 1:5 scale modules over a period exceeding 30 years
• Understanding the effect and behaviour of water deluge and waterspray on gas explosions
