Registration for Gexcon Safety and Technology Conference 2019 is Now Open!

We are delighted to announce that registration for Gexcon Safety and Technology Conference 2019 is now OPEN!

This year’s conference will be held at scenic Panorama Hotel and Resort between the 4th and 5th of June 2019, where all participants will have the opportunity to learn, network and share their knowledge with fellow practitioners in the field of process safety.

The pre-conference event, where you will enjoy a fantastic seafood buffet evening meal & fjord cruise, will take place on the evening of the 3rd of June. This will provide the perfect start in meeting your fellow delegates in a relaxed and informal atmosphere whilst taking in the beautiful scenery of Bergen.

During the 2-day conference, we will be joined by Keynote speakers from industry regulators, clients, and partners where the latest in state-of-the-art technologies encompassing risk and safety management will be presented and discussed. We will also incorporate our successful annual user group meetings for FLUG, along with the first user group meetings for FRED, Shepherd, PIPA, EFFECTS and RISKCURVES. Moreover, we will also be giving delegates the unique opportunity to see our new jet-fire facility in Steinsland.

We will have the following keynote presentations at the conference, where the speakers will share some of their unique experiences, expertise and long-term visions:

• Bernt Skeie, CEO of Prototech AS. “Hydrogen as the Fuel for Marine Operations and Offshore Installations – Presentation of a Hybrid Solution Combining Fuels Cells for Both Nature Gas and Hydrogen“
• Hans Bjarne Claussen, VP Digital Lead Industrial Automation Division of ABB. “ABB Ability, Using the Digital Platform for Connecting the Internet of Things to Increase Safety on Onshore and Offshore Facilities“
• Shell Global Solutions. “Large scale laboratory test as a basis for the technology and tools to increase safety“
