  • The roles involve working alongside a senior team member conducting risk analysis and preparing various safety management documents based on the latest best practice risk and safety management techniques (including HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, BowTie, QRA).
  • Assisting with CFD and other modelling work as required.
  • Providing project management support for the various consulting projects, as well as contract research and equipment testing.
  • Writing reports post-site visit to document findings.
  • Travelling to client meetings and site visits within the UK along with travel to Gexcon international offices for short or long intervals as required.

  • Strong academic background with a good degree in a STEM subject from a respected institution.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with both colleagues and clients.
  • Initiative – the ability to manage and control own workload.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly written English with strong presentation skills.
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical ability.
  • The candidate must be dynamic with the ability to learn new skills and adapt accordingly.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Permit to work in the UK is essential.
  • A full UK driving license is essential as travel throughout the UK is required.
