Gexcon Signed an MoU with East China University of Science and Technology

On October 22, Mr. Kjell Svellingen, Global Executive Vice President of Gexcon AS and Mr. Bin Xie, General Manager of Gexcon China, visited East China University of Science and Technology and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Prof. Liu Haifeng, Deputy Dean of ECUST (East China University of Science and Technology) Institute of Science Technology Development.

Prof. Liu first expressed his sincere welcome to Mr. Kjell Svellingen and introduced the basic information of ECUST. ECUST is the first university in China with chemical engineering as its main feature, and its chemical major currently ranks first in China. Over the years, ECUST has brought up a lot of high-level chemical experts for society. He also pointed out that the development of the chemical industry has shifted from the first stage of pursuing efficiency, the second stage of pursuing environmental protection and high efficiency, to the third stage of pursuing safety, environmental protection and high efficiency. Therefore, it is essential to cooperate with Gexcon AS which is a world-renowned company with strong strength in the safety field. He hopes that through cooperation, both parties can develop more safe process technologies, and provide more senior chemical talents with safety awareness and professional skills.
