Gexcon and VIAS partnering to provide advanced engineering software solutions in North America

(Bergen, Norway, November 10, 2020) Gexcon, a world leading company in process safety and risk management, and VIAS (Virtual Integrated Analytics Solutions), a company specializing in scientific simulation-based engineering solutions using virtual design experience and data analytics, have entered into a strategic partnership to provide state-of-the-art solutions to clients in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

VIAS will market and commercialize Gexcon’s X-suite range of safety software products. The X-suite consists of 3D consequence modeling tools (FLACS-CFD), 2D consequence modeling tools (FLACS-EFFECTS and Shell FRED), QRA tools (FLACS-Frequency, FLACS-RISKCURVES, and Shell Shepherd), and a pre-incident planning tool (Shell PIPA).
