What you will learn

  • Summary of the improvements implemented to the dispersion model in Gexcon’s integral consequence modelling software EFFECTS and validation to assess accuracy for all dispersion behaviours.
  • Use case examples on LNG, CO2, ammonia, and hydrogen dispersion.

About the webinar

A reliable dispersion model is essential for accurately analysing the consequence of accidental releases of flammable and toxic substances, helping identify potential hazardous zones and safeguarding people and the environment.

Gexcon’s consequence analysis software, EFFECTS, has recently undergone significant improvements in modelling all dispersion behaviours, including lighter-than-air gas, neutral gas, and dense gas.

With rigorous validations, EFFECTS presents an excellent agreement with experimental data for all dispersion behaviours, establishing the tool as a trusted solution for analysing substances such as LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas), hydrogen, ammonia, CO2, H2S, and more.

In this webinar, our expert presents the latest enhancements in EFFECTS software’s dispersion modelling and demonstrates its practical applications in enhancing the safety of process facilities. Additionally, we will provide real-world use case scenarios to facilitate a deeper understanding of the software’s capabilities and its potential to safeguard your operations.
