About the presentation
Title: Thermal runaway of batteries simulation with FLACS
Gexcon provides an overview of thermal runaway in batteries and demonstrates the application of FLACS for simulating this event.
About the speaker
Maxime Duchateau (Gexcon)
Maxime Duchateau is a senior engineer at Gexcon France, having joined the team with the establishment of the French division in 2019. Specializing in modelling accidental phenomena with both phenomenological and computational fluid dynamics tools, he focuses on areas critical to the energy transition, such as hydrogen and battery technologies. Maxime holds an engineering degree in the Management of Industrial Risks from INSA Rouen, awarded in 2017.
